Handmade Moroccan Rugs, Knotted by Name
Every rug we carry was made by a weaver I can name, in a workshop I’ve stood in. Sourced direct from Morocco — no warehouse, no middleman — and shipped to your door in Texas. One of a kind, the way it’s been done for generations.
From a loom in Marrakech
It started in a weaving atelier, on a trip that was supposed to be a vacation.
I walked into a small atelier outside Marrakech and watched a woman tie a rug by hand, one knot at a time, the way her mother taught her. I left with a rug — and a mission. Today every piece in this collection comes from weavers like her, and each knot still carries a region, a tribe, a family.

A handmade Moroccan rug is never just a floor covering — it’s a record of the hands that made it. Our authentic Moroccan rugs are knotted and flat-woven by Berber artisans across the High Atlas and beyond: plush Beni Ourain rugs in undyed ivory wool, graphic Berber rugs dense with diamonds and lines, lightweight kilim rugs in bold flat-weave color, and painterly Azilal and Boujad pieces, no two of which are alike.
Every rug is made from real High Atlas sheep’s wool using techniques passed down for generations — no machines, no synthetic shortcuts. Prefer something built for your exact space? Our custom Moroccan rug service lets you choose the size, palette, and pattern, then hand-knots it to order. Each piece is sourced direct from artisan workshops in Morocco and shipped to your home in the United States.
